Q: How does your family use Beyond the Bank binders?

A: We give our kids $5 every two weeks for allowance. They have to put $1 each into their Save, Give, and Invest categories, and they get to choose where to put the remaining $2. At the end of every month, we pay them 5% APY interest on the money they have in the Invest categories. Check out this post for a step by step guide to calculating and paying interest.

Q: How many ledger pages come in the binder?

A: The binders come with 3 ledger pages for each of the categories, which should last around 1-2 years at 3-6 entries a month. We're also happy to send a PDF of the pages (with verified purchase) so that you can print more at home if needed.
